Terms of Service

1. Operator and scope

CheckMate is operated by Imagine (이매진). By using the service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

2. Current service and fees

All features currently provided, including unfollower, mutual, and fan detection, possible-username-change reconciliation, and export insights, are free. There is no purchasable paid plan, no checkout screen, and no recurring-billing agreement. The features currently available to the public are offered free of charge only.

3. Local analysis and accuracy

• You may analyze only Instagram data files that you obtained yourself.
• The original file and detailed results are processed in your browser and are not stored on a server.
• Export omissions, deactivated, deleted, or blocked accounts, and username changes in the older format may not be fully distinguishable.
• Results are reference information, not Instagram's official determination or professional advice.

4. Prohibited conduct

• Uploading another person's file without authorization, or using the results for harassment or surveillance
• Sending excessive requests to, or attempting to bypass access controls of, the service, its servers, or its deployment infrastructure
• Violating applicable law, Instagram's terms, or the privacy or copyright of third parties
• Presenting the CheckMate name or interface in a way that could be mistaken for an official Instagram service

5. Advertising, changes, and suspension

No ad requests are currently executed on the analysis results screen or on public pages. If the features, fees, or advertising policy change, the relevant pages will be updated before the change applies. The service may be temporarily suspended for security, maintenance, changes by external platforms, or force majeure.

6. Liability and contact

Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, the operator is not liable for indirect damages arising from your selection of the wrong file or misinterpretation of the results.
